What we offer > Training
We can provide a stepped range of workshops that focus on mental health awareness, from a 30 minute introductory online webinar to half or full-day workshops tailored for line managers or for the wider workforce
All of our workshops provide input on mental health as a continuum, on mental difficulties as they present themselves in the workplace, on the impact that mental health can have on organisations and on the central importance of working relationships in reducing negative impact and promoting health. Longer courses include case studies and space for participants to focus on how the course material applies to their own work setting and role.
Mental health awareness 30 minute webinar
Length: 30 minutes
Where: Online
For: Groups up to 200 people
Are you an organisation wanting to improve mental health in your workplace? In this short, 30 minute introductory webinar we will help raise awareness, start the conversations and help managers to build an understanding of mental wellbeing in their working relationships.
The session is ‘clinical-light,’ allowing for a clear focus on ways to mitigate issues in your workplace. The course will introduce the idea of a mental health spectrum, touch on key data around the impact of mental health on business and provide brief guidance on the simple steps employees and employers can take to make a positive difference.
Working towards wellbeing for managers
Length: 1 day
Where: Online or in-person

Do the managers in your organisation feel confident to support mental wellbeing in the workplace? This one day training course focuses on understanding and making the best use of the line manager relationship as part of a psychologically healthy workplace.
This training course will develop managers’ understanding of mental health and wellbeing as part of human development and relationships, particularly the knowledge, experience and skills managers require to balance the needs of the individual and the organisation, including compliance with statutory frameworks relating to mental health.
Working towards wellbeing for all staff
Length: Half a day
Where: Online or in-person
For: Groups
Is openness about mental health an ordinary part of working in your organisation? This training course is suited to all staff who are interested in becoming more aware of mental health in the workplace. The training aims to promote an understanding of mental health and wellbeing as part of human development and relationships, with specific application to the workplace, helping participants to make links to their own working experience.
Working relationships and resilience
Length: 1 or half a day
Where: Online or in-person
For: Groups
We can provide a stepped range of workshops that focus on organisational resilience and the links to mental health, what this looks like in practice and how teams and organisations can apply resilient methods to the workplace. Our course promotes the idea that the development of resilience is not something that should be left to individuals – it can become a quality for an organisation, that in turn helps to support the strength and capacity of the workforce.
Working towards wellbeing – digital training
We have also collaborated with the Tavistock and Portman Digital Academy to create four digital mini-courses ‘Working Towards Wellbeing.’ Each course is 5 hours long and fully online, so can be completed when it’s convenient for learners.
The themes are:
- Leadership, followership and mental health
- The resilient workplace
- Maintaining hope in uncertain times
- Trauma, self-care and caring for others
If your organisation is interested in providing these courses for your staff, we can also provide a follow-up workshop to consolidate learning and help participants to make links to their own work role.
